Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team. The Senior Superintendent will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong background in municipal and educational construction, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities, from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are utilized effectively.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety performance.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage project budgets and control costs through proactive planning and management.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on municipal and educational builds.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
