Job Overview:
NEXTEK Electric is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical services, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As the Electrical Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:
  
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical service technicians.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Operational Oversight:
  
  • Coordinate and schedule service calls and projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Customer Service:
  
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide accurate quotes and estimates for electrical services.
• Quality Control:
  
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Maintain a focus on safety and enforce safety protocols.
• Administrative Duties:
  
  • Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and documentation.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and objectives.
• Marketing:
  
  • Develop the company's local work in the areas of residential, commercial, and service work.
  • Make contacts with general contractors and residential and commercial developers.
  • Obtain new information on new general contractors and residential and commercial developers.
  • Monitor the electrical construction market in the division's geographical area to identify potential customers and be responsible for initial contact of these customers.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical services, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Skills & Abilities:
  
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Certifications:
  
  • Licensed Electrician or equivalent certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
