Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. As an Ironworker, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of structural steel components, ensuring the integrity and safety of our projects. Responsibilities: - Steel Erection: Perform the assembly and installation of structural steel components, including columns, beams, and girders, according to project specifications.
- Welding: Utilize welding equipment to connect steel elements, ensuring strong and secure joints.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction drawings to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, consistently promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of tools and equipment, such as cranes, hoists, and power tools, to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including welders, fabricators, and construction professionals, to achieve project milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Ironworker in a construction or steel fabrication setting.
- Strong knowledge of steel construction techniques, welding processes, and blueprint reading.
- Certification in welding and/or ironworking is highly desirable.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
