The Role As Civil Superintendent, you’ll oversee day-to-day field operations on heavy civil projects involving road construction, grading, and paving. You’ll lead site crews, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project managers, and make sure every job runs safely, efficiently, and up to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage field operations on grading and paving projects
• Supervise site crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure work is on schedule and within budget
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and project regulations
• Interpret plans and specifications to guide site execution
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and inspections
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and as-builts
• Solve issues proactively and keep lines of communication open with all stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of heavy civil experience, specifically in road grading and paving
• Proven track record managing crews and running jobs in the field
• Strong knowledge of grading tolerances, paving best practices, and equipment operations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specs
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Tech-savvy enough to handle reporting and documentation in the field
