Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout requirements of the system
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand or power tools
• Install and maintain various piping systems including water, gas, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot systems for leaks and other issues
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
• Strong knowledge of various piping materials and their applications
• Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to pipefitting tasks
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certification or vocational training in pipefitting or a related field
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and codes
