Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Estimator to join our team at Ground Up Careers of Arizona. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in our project development process by accurately estimating costs and resources required for construction projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful planning and execution of projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment costs, and overhead expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and quality.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including reviewing bid documents and providing input on project pricing.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or cost overruns.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
