Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Development Director to join our team and spearhead our business growth initiatives. As the Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic expansion efforts, cultivating key relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities to propel our company forward. Your leadership, industry expertise, and strategic acumen will be instrumental in shaping our growth trajectory and solidifying our position as a premier construction firm in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and client acquisition.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments aligned with our company's mission, values, and growth objectives.
• Lead the sales team in prospecting, nurturing, and closing deals, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to drive successful outcomes.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers to foster collaboration and generate repeat business.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition effectively.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and market data to track progress, evaluate effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the construction or contracting industry, preferably in Arizona.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, regulations, and market trends in the Arizona region.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business development tools.
• Willingness to travel within Arizona and occasionally beyond as needed.
